SLS Puerto Madero

To close the year, 50 agencies showed up to explore alternatives to meet the current demand and gain insights from the presentations of the following speakers:

  • Santiago Dasso from Dawe Yachts explained how to sell luxury yachts.
  • Mariano Medina from Tu Agencia de Viajes introduced 2025 trends in online marketing.
  • Ernesto Irrazabal, Sales Director at SLS Puerto Madero, introduced the Own hotel chain.
  • Sabrina Wagner from Europe Assistance shared information on the new travel insurance portfolio offering greater flexibility.

Whisky Museum

This time, the gathering took place at the Whisky Museum, where 35 agencies came together for a presentation about the destination, led by two bagpipers from the S.A.P.A Bagpipe Band, along with a tasting of the destination’s iconic beverage.

 

Participants enjoyed traditional music performed by the bagpipers, who also introduced the mysterious and captivating Highlands.

Blank Recoleta Hotel

August 7th 2024

The Luxury Travel Talks Peña took place at the Blank Recoleta Hotel, a small gathering branded as “Small Events for Great Agencies”, with plans to continue this initiative in 2025.

Twenty guests enjoyed a cultural journey through Argentina, presented by Luma Duo with performances of sambas, chacareras, and carnavalitos. The event was complemented by homemade empanadas and exquisite wines.

Anselmo Hotel

With the Luxury Travel Talks brand officially registered  another gathering was held at the Anselmo Hotel.

  • “Cayman Islands: A Jewel in the Caribbean”.
  • “Cayo Levantado: Luxury at the Resort”.
  • “How to Sell Luxury Cruises” by Silversea.

  • “Trends in Argentine Luxury Travelers’ Consumption” by Andrea Tosi from Promovere.

The event concluded with a captivating performance by Luma Duo, showcasing Argentina’s rich culture through traditional folklore.

Anselmo Hotel

After the success of the first two events of this new space for the Tourism Industry, the third meeting was held on March 21, 2024.

The topics and speakers were:

  • Mr. Willie Cabrera Walsh, Piper of S.A.P.A. (South American Piping Association) presented together with Mrs Romero Mirci the secrets from Scotgland: a mysterious and attractive destination
  • Ms Elena Marcopulos, luxury specialist for the Greece destination of Exclusive Luxury Trips, the boutique travel area of ​​Joy Tours; spoke about the keys to a unique and unforgettable experience in southeastern Europe.
  • Iris Carrasco, coordinator for the Southern cone of the Curacao tourism office, explained about the secrets when selling a jewel in the Caribbean
  • Andrea Tosi, head of Communication and Promotion at Promovere, was in charge of detailing the Atelier Playa Mujeres experience, a hotel that is among the 25 best all-inclusive in the world
  • The president of Motorola, Mr. Henry Bateson, detailed those tips that we should not neglect when offering service to corporate clients.
  • Ms. Elena Boente, EB Marketing Founder, shared the tourism trends for 2024.
  • Lic.Alejandra Repetto gave us a detail about the environmental impacts of the tourism in Florida and sustainable experiences.

Solidarity was once again present at Luxury Travel Talks, with the Jasy Pora Village being the beneficiary of more than $120,000 from all participants.

Anselmo Hotel

On December 12, 2023, the second and last meeting of 2023 was held with the following theme and speakers:

  • Maria del Mar Musciatti (CEO Mundo MBA / Serandipians agency).-Luxury in corporate tourism
  • Mercedes del Castillo (Furlong Fox / Virtuoso Commercial Director).-The growth of an FCM representative agency in Argentina
  • Mariano Medina (director of Your Travel Agency).-The use of IG as a tool, suggestions of algorithms to use for the positioning of a profile and optimization of its resources.
Participants were invited to collaborate for the 941 YasyPorã Intercultural School, 600 hectares, Puerto Iguazú, which raised more than $90,000.

Cassa Lepage

On November 7, 2023, the first launch meeting of the Luxury Tourism talk series was held, whose organization was in charge of María Laura Romero Mirci, creator of “Luxury Travel Talks” which had the participation of more than 150 people, including travel agencies, hoteliers, tourism operators, INPROTUR authorities, and important industry leaders.

 

This day took place at the CassaLepage Museum Hotel, located in the historic center of the City of Buenos Aires.

 

A team of active tourism professionals spoke and shared their experience on the different topics related to luxury travel and how to approach this aspirational and fastest growing segment.

 

After the exhibitions, important raffles were awarded as well as a show by Mansión Tango was offered, one of the main sponsors of the event along with Emirates, Silversea, International BTB, Puerto Valle, Palladio Hotel and Tú Travel Agency, were held.
